Special Event Application

A Special Event Application must be submitted to receive a Special Event Permit if you are hosting an event in the Town of Innisfil.

A Special Event Permit is required for any event that may include the following:
  • Event is open to the public.
  • Event where alcohol is served.
  • Event where a By-Law Exemption (road closures, noise exemption, parking exemption or burn permit) is required.

Application Forms must be submitted a minimum of 90 days prior to the requested event date in order to be considered. Once information is submitted, it will be reviewed to be considered and receive a Special Event Permit.

Approval is at the discretion of the Town. Special Events are not considered approved until you receive your Special Event Permit. The length of the approval process depends on the specifics of your event. Additional documents will be requested upon review of the Special Event Application.

Organizers are reminded that all municipal, provincial and national by-laws and laws are in effect and organizers are responsible to adhere to such bylaws/laws.
